The entire cadre of PRP is tense as the Election Commission of India (ECI) refused to allot a common symbol to its party candidates as it is not a recognized political party. Earlier, PRP requested ECI to allot a common symbol to all its candidates.
In case a common symbol is not allotted, the party candidates have to contest the elections on different symbols and it may result in a greater confusion. Currently, the party is consulting the legal experts on the issue.
Talking to the media persons in Nizamabad where he is currently participating in his political campaign, Chiranjeevi said ‘we will challenge the EC decision in the High Court to get a common symbol’.
